Rocks and trout

Trout tend to feed on three sides of a rock. The heard and To the and right sides At a distance term determined by the rate of flow. Today I faced two trout feeding on both the left and right of the rock. Approaching and presenting to the near trout is the best call, but if the stream offers a low crossing and you can make it to the other side and present to a leeward downstream fish you can make a great presentation with maximum effectiveness.
